Mini Forest Ant is an ant farm in miniature from Antquarium collection by TAOS. It’s an educational activity to discover the world of ants: the ants dig and plants grow within an ecosystem.
A perfectly balanced ecosystem is the base concept of Antquarium©; the first and unique habitat for ants tested in zero gravity. Antquarium© includes a special container, liquid and powder bags to create the gel. It provides also a wooden stick to start digging holes.

Studying ants in a self-sufficient habitats

It’s a game suitable for kids from 9 years up and makes it possible to study the behavior of ants in an original habitat self-sufficient.

Antquarium© is made up of a highly nutritious, non-toxic gel in which is necessary to make 4 small holes to begin construction of the network of tunnels. Just go into the Park and into the garden and take about 15 ants to populate the colony, put them inside the Antquarium, put the cover back on and watch.

Within a few days the ants will dig a spectacular system of tunnels and canals. Inside your ant farm in miniature each tunnel is visible from various angles through the walls of the container. Maintenance is minimal.

Ideal for adventurous boys

In addition to providing an ecological habitat in perfect balance and secure, the gel is also the nourishment of the ants. It will simply open the lid to ventilate the Interior for a moment once a month.
